Welcome to our travel blog!
We started this blog to share everything we love about travel. Over the years, we’ve read countless blogs and watched hundreds of travel vlogs. Each one inspiring us, helping us plan, and shaping our adventures. We’re incredibly grateful for all the content creators who helped us along the way.
But we also noticed gaps for places we wanted to explore that didn’t have much coverage. That’s when we realized maybe we could help fill in some of those blanks, as well as add to the massive community of travel content.. By sharing our own experiences, tips, and stories, we hope to contribute to the growing world of travel content and help others on their journeys.
Why “Windows of Travel”?
Well, you’d be surprised how many travel blog names are already taken—seriously, I came up with at least 50 fun, catchy names that were all spoken for after a quick search. (Turns out I’m not as original as I thought 😂).
But I kept coming back to the idea of a window. We’ve traveled on just about every form of transportation, and one of my favorite things to do is simply sit and gaze out the window. There’s something about that perspective that really stuck with me. To my surprise, Windows of Travel wasn’t taken, at least not on the platforms I cared about. So here we are: Windows of Travel.
Who are we?
Hi, we’re Krystal and Scott -
One of the first things we connected on as a couple was our shared passion for exploring new places. We had both traveled for years before we met, so coming together just meant even more travel, lol.
It’s hard to say we have a single favorite destination (though we do both love Munich). Honestly, we’re just always excited for “the next stop”—wherever that may be.

Our content
Amateur? Admittedly, yes. We debated whether to wait until we had shiny, professional content to start sharing, or to just dive in with what we already have. In the end, we chose to start now. Our earlier content may not be the most polished, and compared to other travel creators, it has a “beginner” feel, but we’re okay with that. We’re proud of where we started, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. With each trip, we’re learning new ways to capture the details that will tell better stories. Like us, our content will only get better with age (or so we hope—haha).
We’re not quite at the stage of consistent or scheduled posts—after all, we’re just getting started. But we’d love for you to check back often and subscribe to our community (links at the bottom of the page). We’re excited to share our experiences and connect with each of you along the way.
